September 17, Shawnee Country Club has agreed to extend to our members and spouses or guests the opportunity to have dinner tonight at the club to be paid by credit card or cash. This will enable you to view the facilities and see what the club has to offer for members.

Rotary Cups for the 2008-09 New Members: For those of you who have not received yours, they will be in the office. Please pick yours up.

Bring in a new member. Applications are always available at the meeting on the back table. Membership Contact is Doug Scott.
2009-10 Membership Directory: We will be printing a new directory soon. Ann Palmer will be taking pictures Sept. 17 and Sept. 24 for those whose pictures are not in last year’s directory or if you want a retake. If you cannot be at any of the meetings in September call Ann, she will come to your office. Our goal is to get everyone’s picture in the directory.

Opportunity to Bring a Guest Free of Charge to the December 3 and 10 Meetings since the December 24 and 31 will be canceled. We will need reservations for guests by November 18, in order to get a head count for these two dates.
Greg Hill was Appointed by the Board at its September 9 Meeting to fill Asel Mukeyeva’s Vacancy on the Board. Asel will be going Back to School to Complete a Law Degree.
Volunteers needed to work at the Annual Topeka Water Festival on September 17 at Garfield Park. Contact is Glenda DuBoise
